I'm Carlos, a WordPress developer and marketing professional in Austin, Texas.
I build websites and the marketing around them: the brand, the search work, the campaigns. Here are some of them, from a fine jewelry boutique at The Domain to a breast cancer nonprofit here in Austin.
About the work
I've built websites for jewelry stores, nonprofits, a filtration manufacturer, a fitness brand and a company that sells pharmacy robots, mostly on WordPress. On most of them I also did the marketing, so I got to see what each site actually did for the business.

What I usually do on a project.
It changes from one project to the next, but these four come up almost every time.
WordPress development
I build the theme and templates myself and keep them light, so the site loads fast on a phone and Google can make sense of it.
Redesigns
A lot of these were rebuilds of sites that already existed. I keep the pages that rank and the links people already use, and rebuild the rest.
WooCommerce and memberships
Online stores, membership sites and members-only video, plus the payments and shipping behind them.
Search and marketing
How people find the site and why they come back: page structure, local search in Austin, tracking, social content and campaigns.
